Recover Windows Vista Password. Tested 100% Working

Ophcrack actually does work and also works with windows 7. However, if people can't get it to work.. you also might want to look into using any linux live cd or go for paid software. Paid for password reset software gives you guarantees or your money back

ok i did everything u said step by step and it work.. except it gave me the admin and the guest password but the owner couldnt be found... and thats the one i need because the vista loggin screen has one account and its the owner account what can i doo? plz help me if u can..

I got my ophcrack up and running in video and text options. I had choice of 2 partitions but response was the same 'A problem occured while reading the SYSTEM file found in /mnt/sdal/windows/system32/config/' Then went on to tell me passwords were in /tmp/pohcrack.txt but I couldnt find the file. Any help would be appreciated!!

ophcrack only found my guest account password and not my administrator password...do i need to download more tables and if so how do i use them, bc you cant reburn to a cd...so i changed my password for my guest acount to all caps and the password was not found(OPHCRACK DOESN'T FIND ALL CAPPED PASSWORDS?!) help is needed!!!

I need help getting the method to work... When I try to boot from the CD, it gives me an error saying,
"Could not find kernel image: linux
boot:"

What am I doing wrong?

i got it to run but then it comes up with its own cmd that sed that said "No partition containing hashes found!!" soo idk wat to do

thanks worked 100%!! Its not a scam. Dont start it in text mode. At the end it sais that the passwords have been saved in a textfile calles ophcrack.txt. But this file doesnt exist. Try it in the Graphic mode there you can see all passwords !! Thanks to MmansoorM !!

Remember: Sometimes It doesn't show Full Password.

hey i use the ophcrack in graphic mode than it come out a slitaz program tha when i log out that and tried to lg in to windows vista it juz black out and i waited very long but nothing comes out now who can help me??

If you forget you pass word do this! Start your computer press F8 safemode,then go to user accounts,then click on remove pass word and reboot ,your in !

use Offline NT Password & Registry Editor. It deletes your password.

you mean there's no hope for me of using this method? :( :( i really wanted to be able to use this man. I dont understand why freaking vista comps are always screwed up when you actually try to use them for something important like this. >.>
